I can't believe I'm saying this but I don't have much faith in a different result. I don't think the Flames are just going to flip a switch and all of a sudden match Colorado's intensity. I guess we will see though.

Brassard is out for sure and there are rumors that another Avs forward is a game time decision. Rantanen was almost scratched on Monday but I'm not so sure it's him. Hopefully for the Avs sake Brassard's cold/flu isn't spreading around the team.

That would be fantastic if the flu is going through the team

Lets (frank)ing go boys! Hoping they play like they did after the whooping Pittsburg gave us. We will see how bad they want it tonight. No passengers. BP should have everyone on a short leash tonight. Bench whoever doesn’t come to play.

Working nightshift FFS! Enjoy the game fellas. GFG

Flames padded their win totals beating up on trash like Edmonton, LA, Anaheim, Vancouver. Their record against playoff teams was pretty mediocre. They aren't a great team. Smith blows. Gaudreau is getting pushed around. Their depth is pretty lame. Vegas would kill them next round. Buh bye.

Haha. Sorry. Just speaking the truth about the Flames. Since January 1:

9-8-0 record against playoff teams
17-5-3 record against non-playoff teams (2 of those 5 losses were meaningless games 81 and 82 when they rested players)

Anyone who recognized this pattern isn't surprised that they look awful against Colorado.

GO FLAMES! My Gut is telling me this is going to be a good game for the Flames. I think Bennett is going to light the way to sparking this team alive!

Um, that's what good teams do. Beat the teams you're supposed to and go .500 against the good teams and you'll usually find yourself at the top of the standings.

That being said, of all the teams you named they only had a winning record against LA, but so did everyone.

They also went 3-0 against Colorado and had a .500 record or better against everyone left except Dallas and St. Louis.

What else you got?

Haha atta boy Hunk!

“You can throw analytics and corsi out the window at playoff time. It’s heart and balls that matter at this time of year. The teams that have this usually win. When talent doesn’t work hard or battle you have zero chance of winning.” -Theo Fleury

Time for Gaudreau to play playoff hockey.... no more blind passes ,no more trying to do it all yourself. Get some meat and potatoes and stop your whining and looking at the ref all the time. Basically take a few pages out of Bennett’s book. 4~2 flames

He'll never be that guy. If you're holding your breath for Gaudreau to muck and grind, I suggest you stop because you'll pass out. It's easy for teams to key on Gaudreau because the other two fellas on his line have been invisible for half of the season.

For sure he will never be that mucker grinder... but he has to show more grit then what he has been showing.

The only grit he has is when he cusses the refs out for missing calls.
